Honestly, it can’t take a little bit of EM radiation???
Slang. An incredibly awesome person.
Someone who tends to be far cooler than anyone else in his surroundings.
Not my definition but something I’m definitely not opposed to :P
Ahhh, has working this hard ever been so good?
Well it’s getting close. We’ve only got a billion or so kilometers to go and the New Horizons probe will have reached it’s first destination, the dwarf planet Pulto.
The trip (as detailed in the image below) started way back in 2006, passed Jupiter in 2007 then entered its hibernation mode until 2014.
I was lucky enough to get both my daughters names on the probe but unfortunately my son wasn’t born at the time so he missed out :P
This is what the probe would see as it looks back upon the star we call Sol.
Very exciting indeed!
Ok, get your flames ready. Here is a study of App Crashes between Andriod and iOS and you guessed it, my personal favourite comes out on top once again q;)
Full article goes into more detail and can be found here.
To all Australians, may our country continue to be a beacon of tolerance and a symbol of strength to all who look upon her.
May our flag fly free from tyranny, terror, censorship and suffering for now and forever more!
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, OI, OI, OI!!!!!!!
Just some of my favourite Apple fails :P
Wow… 30 years ago I received probably the single best present my folks could ever have bought me (yeah yeah, I’ve had better pressies but from a “help shape my future” perspective there was none better).
The Commodore 64 turns 30
After checking out the PC Tech article I started feeling my age a bit :P
Happy Birthday to the computer that introduced me to the world of spaghetti code and computer hardware. I can honestly say that I still have a few 5.25″ disks in my draw at home. Scary!
Well I didn’t think I’d see the day that something of this calibre reached fruition but fortunately I have.
One of my pet projects in the past was electrolysis to produce hydrogen gas as a means to power a combustion engine to generate electrical energy though the output was always less than the input.
Now we can use the ultimate renewable energy source, the star which we orbit!
Can’t wait to get my hands on one of these babies!
Well, here’s my “prior art” posting with regards to WiseGuy (WG).
WG is a “quantum blogging” mobile app that is designed to reduce the amount of fluff used in regular blogs and get right to the heart of the “tips” the blog is trying to convey.
I’ve finished the Android version and will soon be starting the iPhone version though I have NO plans on making this into a website.
In fact, this is SO a mobile app that it started as an app rather than starting as a website then converted into an app.
The core of quantum blogging is very much, short and sweet information, no links, no pictures just data.
I’ll be asking a designer friend of mine to help “style” the app after I’ve finished a few more features as she currently looks, “programmer-ish” :P
Well, I’ve decided to go to market without the “face-lift”. You can download the app here
